| The name of this series of collages, El Yunque, is the name of the rain forest in Puerto Rico. The collages were inspired by the contrast between the luscious greens and tropical colors of the rain forest the first time I saw it, and the stark destruction I saw there after the hurricane. The brown paper in the collages is tree wrap, to protect and heal the forest. |
