| For the 2012 exchange I have made collages on the theme of houses and homes. Since childhood I have loved residential architecture of all types - Victorian, split-level, Tudor, open-plan, little brick Colonial - you name it, I'm interested in their floor plans, trim details, screen doors ..... When we go on vacation we tour historic homes and also visit real estate open houses. We've renovated this house and the two others we owned before it. So for these collages I chose pictures of houses I've photographed (yes, I walk around neighborhoods doing that, too) and gave them an interested party - homeowner, passer-by, hopeful buyer. |
