|Four years ago my husband and I decided it was time to make some changes. To put it plainly we were very overweight and really out of shape.
It was affecting our health and things only looked to get worse if we did nothing. So, we changed our diet, learned about nutrition, and started to exercise.
I had been athletic as a young girl but very sedentary as an adult. It was still a shock to me that I could barely keep up with the old ladies in the aquafit class. We persevered though, and now we are
different people, both in looks and outlook. We even run road races now, and I do a whole series of exercise classes. This series of collages commemorates all the hours at the gym and the painful
and pleasant experiences I've had there, and my gratitude for another chance.|
