Dale works in assemblage and collage, the juxtaposition of disparate images and found objects, usually making an observation of the bleaker side of the human condition.
‘The philosophy of the found.’

Her work can be seen on her website www.dalecopeland.co.nz

She is fortunate that her art has led to her being invited to travel to some exciting and beautiful places in the world. Twice to Plovdiv in Bulgaria and as guest exhibitor in Paris as well as carrying group exhibitions to New York, Vancouver and Paris.

Opportunity is like a bird fluttering past. Grab it, hold on, enjoy the ride.

Some call it the soul. (And there have even been experiments to try and measure the weight which is lost on death, as the soul leaves.
I call it the personality, the reality, the self.
Not entirely lost while remembered by friends, but certainly not still in that box.
